Snow - MIA!!
This year is the first I totally expected a White Christmas. To bad I didn't get any!! Nothing. Nada. There was a blizzard that hit Maine, and most of the North East. They got atleast a foot or more. We got a fews inch and this was after Christmas. Mostly we had light snow fall and a lot of wind. The winds took out our tower so I didn't have internet access for a few days.
Huntsville, Alabama got snow on Christmas, and Atlanta had it's first White Christmas since 1882. Amazing! I'm starting to believe that the mild weather followed me from Alabama or something freaky is happening.

To Maine!
In August I moved up to Limestone, Maine. It's north way north. Limestone is in Aroostook County, or "The County" to Southern Mainers call it, We packed up our 3 cats and drove up. We made the drive in 2 days, most of the traffic we hit was at the tolls for the Maine Turnpike.
Northern Maine, is very pretty. It is wild and screams for adventure. So I decided I was gonna go out and live as a true Northern Mainer.
I am now settled into the house and got my bearings for where I am. It's now November 30, 2010 and I want to experience everything that Northern Maine has! I keep saying Northern Maine because Southern Maine and Northern Maine are like to totally different places. Southern Maine is more costal ie populated where as Northern Maine is more wilderness and barely anyone lives here.
So I am currently looking into wintersports. We have snow already!! About 8 inches atm and shrinking damn you sun! I want to chronicle my adventures with others. I am true newb here, who hates the cold and exercise. And will think it would be fun to share what I find out about the area and myself =)
